This tea is grown up 200-2000 meters above sea level in the Chinese Wuyi mountain region. This is a UN-protected heritage zone. Harvested once a year around May. Grown 1200m above sea level where the air is clean and without pollution. This tea is considered to be a heavier oxidized oolong. It is this oxidation which enhances the cocoa notes of the tea.
