This tea comes from a tea farm in the high mountains of the Fujian province. Picked and produced in the quality season, June 2020. This tea type is know for it’s part in the Gong Fu tea ceremony. This ceremony is a traditional way of preparing tea, characterised by multiple infusions of the same tea in a small teapot. The skill is not only in the brewing of the tea but also in the tasting of the tea. Whilst concentrating on each stage of the process you observe not only your own level of consciousness but perhaps also the “cha qi” (the tea energy). An experience beyond the tasting and the brewing in which to observe how the tea affects your body and mind.
